On-vehicle on show

The Infotec team is set to join a two-week tour to showcase its capabilities in on-vehicle displays.

Infotec’s Business Develop Managers and Accounts Manager are set to visit major train manufacturers over the coming two weeks to help make staff aware of Infotec’s products, services, and capabilities in the field of on-vehicle displays.

Infotec provides a comprehensive range of displays developed using certified hardware, and software specifically for use on trains and buses and meeting the requirements of the Public Service Vehicles (Accessible Information) Regulations 2023.

On-vehicle contracts successfully fulfilled include one for Outfront Media for whom more than 5000 ultra-slim on-vehicle TFT displays for deployment on the New York City Transit have been designed and manufactured, and one for Panasonic/ADC providing on-vehicle TFT displays and controllers for deployment on Northern Rail's UK rolling stock.

Business Development Managers Adam Cousins and Nigel Hewson and Accounts Manager James Lisney will travel as part of the Rail Industry Technology Roadshow 2025, organised by Dream Marketing International in partnership with Rail Forum.

The Roadshow will visit major client organisations across the sector, providing their engineers and designers with a way of seeing products and services from the convenience of their own site or a nearby central location.

The tour starts at Hitachi in Newton Ayecliff on March 10.

The full programme of visits is as follows:

March 10th & 11th – Newton Aycliffe – Hitachi

March 12th – Doncaster – Hitachi

March 13th & 14th – Derby – Alstom

March 18th – Goole – Siemens

March 20th & 21st – Melksham – Knorr Bremse

Commenting on the roadshow, Adam Cousins said: “Nigel, James, and I are very much looking forward to presenting and answering questions about our off-the-shelf products and our ability to create bespoke solutions.

“Infotec is known as the first choice for innovative displays that work with the minimum of fuss to meet all of today’s passenger information system needs. Our on-vehicle displays are backed by the same technical expertise, high quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness as our on-station ranges.”
