Full Matrix for Clapham Junction

Ordered by South West Trains, these latest high-contrast full-matrix displays have been installed to improve the flow of customers through the station.

Three have been positioned on the approach to the Grant Road entrance and a further one each outside the St John’s Hill and Brighton Yard ways in.

The displays have already proved useful in making the public aware of disrupted services and save them time and inconvenience when any of the entrances is closed.

For station staff, the displays are a significant step in managing passenger movement and help prevent crowds gathering at information points or in front of on-station displays.

Effective passenger management at Clapham Junction is of particular importance as it is one of Europe’s busiest stations by the number of trains using it, because many routes from London Waterloo and Victoria funnel through it.

The full matrix displays offer unrivalled flexibility in terms of what can be shown on them, with graphical content as well as text an option. Everything they show is high definition for outstanding clarity and together with the smoothest of transitions means they deliver an outstanding service.
