Control

Scripting

All Infotec displays are supplied with a ‘Script’. This defines where, what and how incoming data is displayed and animated. Prior to dispatch from the control system, the display area is logically split into pre-defined regions. Data received is then ‘scripted’ to be sent to these regions using one of several protocols (see above). The controller will then display the data as per the pre-defined script instructions stored in its flash memory thus providing all the animation, font styles, etc the display requires. This significantly reduces the amount of data and the processing overhead required of the information system provider.
